Encounter At Farpoint:
Welcome aboard the Galaxy Class Starship Enterprise. In the first, feature length episode of Star Trek, The Next Generation, we meet the crew, explore the Enterprise and meet an awesome adversary, the godlike "Q". He sets a challenge to Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) who must prove to "Q" that Humans are not a "Grievously Savage Race". "Q" sets a proving ground - Farpoint - a planet where an alien culture is threatening the peaceful Bandi. Why? The Naked Now: In the Naked Now, the Enterprise is infected by a deadly virus which produces symptoms of intoxication and promiscuity. No one is safe, not even the Captain.
